These chairs are wonderful! We were having a hard time finding chairs that supported much over 400 lbs. After browsing several online furniture stores, we found that these were really the only chairs that had everything we needed/wanted - sufficient weight capacity, metal material, and the best color to match our current table. As other reviewers have stated, I definitely wouldn't call these yellow. They are painted with more of a golden wooden finish. These are the only metal chairs I've seen with this kind of finish - I really like it. I also like that the seat is wooden so you're not sitting on cold, hard metal. So nice to not have to worry about chair legs popping out of place anymore like we did with our old wooden chairs!
These chairs are very sturdy. I was surprised about the height of the chair, but they fit perfectly under and around my kitchen table.
Needed extra seating for family get togethers
These are really sturdy, heavy metal chairs. There is no worry these chairs will fall apart on us, unlike our wooden ones that become wobbly.
My only concern was the weight of the pointed feet of the legs putting too much pressure on one spot on a tile floor. I would have preferred square feet. So, we got furniture-mover coasters for under the feet to distribute the weight on the tile.
We don't have to lift the chairs to move them, and they just slide back and forth from their spot at the table. And after some regular use, the tile floor seems fine. There was no assembly, and they arrived in fine shape.
I couldn't be more pleased with these chairs! They are all that I had hoped and then some! They add a modern touch and a pop of color to our dining room. I really am thrilled with these chairs!! They look beautiful and the yellow is muted--just perfect! A couple of the boxes were banged up on arrival, but no damage to any of the chairs. Be aware, at least for us, because we got 8 chairs, I had to sign for them--so make sure you're home for delivery!!
